All items are "as is". The condition of the item of sale is noted in the description or subject area of the item (example of subject area:  BOOKS).
Alice in the Attic's Store - The items are fully described with their respective photos. Vintage, collectible and rare items are guaranteed authentic.  If the date is unknown. the description indicates an approximate date or states the date is unknown.  If the maker or designer is unknown, no mention will be made.  Original Art:  Original art/designs are the sole responsibility of the artists and designers.  All information regarding these works are directly from the artists and designer and the text is edited for space and content, but with their approval.  The Sassafras Shop is part of the Alice in the Attic Store selling new merchandise with the touch of the Vintage Look.  All policies are the same.
Most prices include shipping and handling.  Sales tax is sometimes included in the price.  Please note that the PayPal listing may not make reference to the shipping and handling or sales tax.  In all instances the description will provide this information.
Many of the items will be shipped by first class mail or by UPS or Express Mail.  Special collectibles will be shipped either overnight or second day or next business day  delivered.  A signature will be required for all deliveries.  This prevents unnecessary handling, especially with fragile items, and guarantees the merchandise is received by the proper person.  Multiple, special priced used books will be shipped by media mail.  DHL has never been used by Alice in the Attic or The Sassafras Shop.
Because many of the items are one-of-a-kind or limited supply, all sales are final, EXCEPT for damaged-in-shipping merchandise.  If your purchase is damaged in shipping, simply get a statement from the post office or UPS and return "postage paid by shipper" by the same method sent.  In order to obtain a credit or refund for damaged-in-shipping merchandise, you must return the item with a post mark of no later than 7 days of receipt of the merchandise.    
Customer service is a high priority at Alice in the Attic.  If you have any questions, send an e-mail.  You will receive a response as soon as feasible, usually within 24 hours or less.  Mark your e-mail "Customer Question" in the subject line.
